Bird Watching        

Although birding lists is not necessarily complete in Bale Mountains it is registered that the forest host most of the interesting and endemic bird species including the Abyssinian hill babbler, Abyssinian, Crimson wing, Ayer’s hawk eagle, Silver, Cheeked hornbill, black winged love bird, black-headed forest oriole, yellow cheeked parrot, Narina's trogon, wattle-ibis, blue winged goose, rouget's rail, spot –breasted plover, white – collared pigeon, yellow fronted parrot, black – winged lovebirds, banded barbet, bolden-backed woodpecker, Abyssinian long claw, while – winged cliff-chat, Abyssinian Catbird, while backed black fit, black headed forest oriole, thick-billed raven, Black headed Siskin.

Bale Safari Tour program

Day 01: Drive to Bale on the way Wild game in Dinsho reserve.
Day 02: Drive to Senetti, breath taking view and on ideal spot to see the endemic Ethiopian wolf.
Day 03: Full day visit Sof-Omar Natural cave.
Day 04: Drive to Wondogenet, hot spring resort and rich in bird life.
Day 05: Drive back to Addis Ababa, on the way, the Rift Valley Lakes and Abyta-Shalla National Park.

Itinerary Awash & Harar

Day 01: Drive 250Km. to awash National Park, in the afternoon game drive and birding.
Day 02: Birding at Awash, hot spring and awash Falls. O/N Loge
Day 03: In the morning more birding and proceed driving to Harar and at night visit hyena show.
Day 04: Morning, sight seeing tour of Harar and catch the afternoon flight to Addis Ababa.
